02 / RESEARCH WORKFLOW
Private liveSwing
Signal Lab.
A research path that can explain its own decisions.
I built a private dashboard for Canadian equities research. It checks the quality of market data, records why a setup passes or fails each rule, and leaves the trade decision with the person using it.
THE CHALLENGE
A signal is only useful when its evidence is visible.
Research workflows can make a result look decisive while hiding stale data, failed checks, or assumptions about execution. Swing Signal Lab makes those boundaries visible before a person chooses what to do next.
THE WORKFLOW
Three steps from data to a manual decision.
Select a step to see how the dashboard handles it.
01 / DATA QUALITYCheck the foundation.+
The research gate checks for enough completed price history and required adjustments. Missing, stale, or inconsistent inputs receive explicit failure reasons instead of becoming a signal.
02 / RULE CHECKSShow why a setup qualifies.+
Trend and setup phases evaluate defined conditions, retain the checks behind a result, and distinguish a rule score from a measured probability of success.
03 / MANUAL REVIEWKeep the person in control.+
A setup can be saved for review. Actual fills are entered manually; the tracker records later price-level touches for review. The dashboard does not place broker orders.
CURRENT STATE
Private by design.
The dashboard is not open to public visitors. Its chart here is illustrative, and its rule score is not a forecast or a validated win probability.
